The French Kitchen – The Gluten Free Baker

 No one should be left out of enjoying three delicious classic French bakes. In this hands on class Chef Hend will guide you through making delicate gluten free eclairs filled with a rich coffee crea,   fancy Gluten free financiers seasonally touched with apples and spices, and a small shell shaped Gluten free sponge cakes that are perfect with a cup of tea or coffee.

Kids in the Kitchen – 5 Day Traveling Cookie Bakeshop

This 5 day camp is designed for kids ages 8-12.

Monday – Friday 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM

In the Traveling Cookie Bakeshop Chef Hend Yahya will teach your kids how to combine the sweet flavors of the world into delicious treats.  In this hands-on experience your kids will bake cookies from all over the world and no passport is needed.  As a traveling chef they will learn techniques unique to various regions and bake a few non-cookie treats as they explore the world.  Each day they will bring home tasty souvenirs to share with family and friends.

Kids in the Kitchen – Passport to Sweetness – 5 Day Camp

This session is designed for kids, ages 8 to 12!

MONDAY, August 28th to FRIDAY, September 1st

FROM 10:00AM TO 12:00PM everyday

Join this engaging kids cooking camp and travel around the world experiencing the best pastries from various countries. We will learn about five international regions known for their love of delicious sweets and why these chosen flavors make each region unique. In this hands-on camp, Chef Thanh Tang will teach your kids baking techniques; measuring for consistency, mixing processes, best ingredients to use, piping, rolling, baking and cooling techniques to get foolproof results. Along with hints and tips for how to take a basic recipe and adjust it to give endless variations. Each day they will learn a bit of geography, history and culture as they discuss the country while making a few recipes that highlight it. This is going to be the best trip that you’ll take your taste buds on!

Kids in the Kitchen – Great Cities of Europe

This 5-day camp is designed for kids ages 8 to 12.

MONDAY, July 11th to FRIDAY, July 15th

From 10:00 AM TO 12:00 PM, Everyday

In this week-long camp, Chef Lee Baker will inspire your child to experience foods from some of the greatest cities in Europe.  We will learn a bit about each city, explore the different ingredients and flavor profiles that make each city distinct and cook up delicious recipes from the “City of the Day.”  Our skilled culinary team will assist each day as your child practices knife skills and becomes familiar with everyday kitchen equipment.  Pack your food passport and experience a different destination city daily.

Monday: Paris
On our trip to Paris, we will make several dishes that are synonymous with the French: Quiche Lorraine, Green Salad with French Dressing and Madeleines.

Tuesday: Berlin
Next we’ll take a trip to Germany, making three very traditional German dishes: Cheesy Spaetzle, Chicken Schnitzel and Apple Strudel.

Wednesday: Bologna
Off to Italy to learn the art of pasta making: Homemade Linguine with Bolognese Sauce and Lemon Ricotta Cakes

Thursday: Madrid
We head to Spain, to the capital city of Madrid, for: Beef Empanadas, Spanish Potato, Onion & Egg Tortilla, Pan con Tomate (tomato-rubbed garlic bread) and Mock Sangria.

Friday: London
Our last stop is London for some traditional English foods:  Fish and Chips, Coleslaw and Hobnob Cookies (made with both rolled oats & jumbo oats).
