Teens at Whisk – The Summertime Deli – 3 Day Camp

This 3 day camp is designed for teens age 13+

MONDAY, July 1st to Wednesday July 3rd

FROM 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Everyday for 3 Days

Join this three day camp, and learn to build a savory menu to impress your family and friends, fun for just a sandwich or for a  whole picnic spread including dessert! You will learn how to make bread and the secrets to many of the most popular deli side dishes. Taught by Chef Baylor Paschall is the head of Pastry  at the Seattle Culinary Institute, who secretly wanted to open his own sandwich shop, so come learn from a passionate pro!

Monday – All about Bun

We will make 2 sandwich/Hoagie  buns from scratch, then you’ll  make a Italian Hoagie with all the Fixings, Homemade Italian Oil and Vinegar Dressing, and Homemade Dill Pickles

Tuesday – Deli Sides

Meatball Hoagie, with Red Sauce, Fresh Mozzarella and Basil,  Caesar Salad with Homemade Croutons and Homemade Mac and Cheese

Wednesday – Deli Desserts 

Triple Chocolate Chip Cookies, Lemon Bars

  • All classes are taught by a culinary professional, with 2 assistants.
  • No prior cooking experience is required, just an interest to learn.
  • For safety reasons, please tie long hair back and wear closed-toed shoes.
  • Students will be working with flour, butter and eggs, and so we cannot accommodate students with allergies to working with gluten, dairy or eggs.
