Teens at Whisk – 3 Day Holiday Bake Shop

This 3-Day Camp is designed for Teens ages 13 and up.

What better way to jump into the holiday season than to learn how to create holiday treats and treasures that are enjoyed by all generations.  In this hands-on, 3-day camp, Chef Lee Baker will teach your teen all her foolproof tips and tricks for baking up numerous holiday treats.  Your teen will create several types of holiday cookies and on the final day they will bake, assemble and decorate a Bûche de Noël (Yule Log) complete with meringue mushrooms.  Each day they will sample their creations in class and bring the rest home for all to enjoy.

Monday – Candy Cane Macarons

Red Swirled Classic Almond Macarons, Dark Chocolate Ganache with Crushed Candy Canes, Peppermint Buttercream

Tuesday – Holiday Cookies

Frosted Sugar Cookies, Chocolate Crinkle Cookies, Raspberry and Almond Thumbprint Cookies, Meringue Mushrooms

Wednesday – Bûche de Noël

Classic Sponge Cake, Chocolate Pastry Cream, Vanilla Whipped Cream, Chocolate Buttercream

  • All classes are taught by a culinary professional, with 2 assistants.
  • No prior cooking experience is required, just an interest to learn.
  • For safety reasons, please tie long hair back and wear closed-toed shoes.
  • Students will be working with flour, butter and eggs, so we cannot accommodate students with allergies to working with gluten, dairy or eggs.
