Kids in the Kitchen – Thanksgiving Desserts This class is designed for kids ages 8 to 12 years old. After a delicious Thanksgiving meal everyone looks forward to what will be served for dessert. You are never to young to learn how to make amazing desserts that please any crowd. In this hands-on class your kids will spend a fun morning with Chef Lee Baker as she teaches them how to make a classic crumble pie with apple filling and mini pumpkin cheesecakes with a gingersnap crust. Your kids will learn the secrets to making the perfect, ever versatile, crumble topping that can be used on many different types of fruit fillings and how to make foolproof cheesecakes everytime. Kids will wow their families by making and bringing home: Apple Crumble Pie Mini Pumpkin Cheesecakes All classes are taught by a culinary professional with 2 adult assistants. Classes are designed for students 8 to 12 years old. No prior cooking experience is required, just an interest to learn. For safety reasons, please tie long hair back and wear closed toed shoes. Students will be working with flour, butter and eggs so we cannot accommodate students with allergies to working with gluten, dairy or eggs.
