Let’s Tango – Latin Tapa’s

Join us for a tango around Latin American in this hands-on, Latin-Inspired Tapas Class. The tango was flavored by ingredients of dance from Spain, Cuba and South America. Join Chef Yary as we use the history of the tango as a guide for our Latin-infused tapas. You will be greeted with a dish from Yary’s home country of:

Cuba – Mashed Potato Cups filled with Chicken Ropa cooked with peppers, shallots, chilis, tomatoes, basil, cilantro and spices.

Then, you’ll get busy and make:

From Peru – Tiradito con crema de aji amarillo:  Peruvian ceviche sea bass with a Peruvian yellow pepper sauce

From Columbia – Arepas con hogao y huevo:  Colombian arepas (fresh corn cakes stuffed with cheese) topped with Colombian creole sauce and a fried quail egg

From Argentina – Carne y chimichurri:  Grilled New York Steak sliced thin on grilled crostini with Argentina’s famous chimichurri sauce
