For Ages 8-12

Put your hand up if you’d love to learn to use a piping bag! French Macarons are elegant piped almond meringue cookie, sandwiched together with a velvety buttercream. In this hands-on class Pastry Chef Thanh Tang will take you step-by-step through making meringue and the perfect Chocolate macaron batter, piping the perfect rounds (that are all the same size shells) and how to fill it with either a Vanilla Butter Cream and or Chocolate Ganaché

What you don’t eat in class you can take home to impress family and friends, you will make

Let us whisk you into the spirit with this holiday themed camp featuring timeless festive treats. Cookies for Santa? Stocking stuffers? Holiday dinner dessert? We’ve got you covered! In this hands-on three-day camp,with Chef Thanh Tang students will learn to cream, roll, and pipe, as they bake their way through joyful holiday delights. Students will sample their creations in class and take the rest home to celebrate.

This 5 day camp is designed for kids 8-12 years.

FROM 10 AM -12 PM

Learning the art of French pastry making will set you up for a lifetime of successful baking! In this week-long session, Chef Lee Baker will provide you with all the techniques needed to turn out a boisseau of pastries. Each day you will sample your pastries, confections and crepes and bring the rest home to share. If you are interested in baking or simply love to eat delicious French pastries, this session is for you!

KIds in the Kitchen – Pizza and Pretzels

This class is designed for 8 kids ages 8 to 12

Get the basics of baking a variety of favorites ingrained early! Pastry Chef Thanh Tang, will teach your kids baking techniques that get foolproof results: measuring for consistency, mixing processes and best ingredients to use … also, hints and tips for how to adjust a basic recipe for variations. Hand selected, kid-tested favorites will be taught in a way that makes learning fun and builds lasting pride. Kids will sample their creations and take some home to share!

The  class is focused on dough where they will make a shape a personal pizza from an assortment of toppings and make half a dozen salted bagels.

This class is designed for Kids, ages 8 to 12

Get the basics of baking early! Chef Lee Baker will teach your kids baking techniques; measuring for consistency, mixing processes, best ingredients to use, cut-in, creaming,  baking and cooling techniques to get foolproof results. Along with hints and tips for how to take a basic recipe and adjust it for variations.. Learning from our professional culinary team will inspire and give your kids a skill that will last a lifetime. At Whisk, we talk baking in a way that makes learning fun and building lasting pride in kids. Kids will sample their creations, and take some home to share.

The holidays are full of excitements and merriment! Whether you’re roasting chestnuts over an open fire, or making tantalizing treats for the family, get your kids ready with a few holiday recipes to kick things off. Pastry Chef Thanh Tang will teach his easy recipes for these warm and spicy holiday delights.

In this hands-on workshop you will make:

Fluffy Gingerbread Spiced Marshmallows – perfect for serving with your hot chocolate or just for snacking, and

Timeless Gingerbread Cookies – always fun to eat, pipe and decorate with Royal icing

You’ll chose your color and what to sandwiched the Macarons together with either a Dark Chocolate Ganache or Strawberry Buttercream, or both!

Plus bring home a variety of Holiday Cookies to share. Pastry Chef Thanh Tang,  will teach your kids how to make his favorite holiday cookie recipes. First, we’ll whip up a couple of varieties of cookie dough, learning about measuring for consistency, mixing processes and best ingredients to use. Afterwards, we will break out the piping bags and decorate our Classic Holiday Sugar Cookies in holiday style. We will work on rolling, baking, cooling techniques and piping skills to get foolproof results. Hand selected, kid tested favorites are on the menu for this class. At Whisk, we make learning fun while building confidence and pride in kids. You will sample your cookies in class and takes the rest home to share.

Chocolate Crackle Cookies; and 

Thumbprint Cookies.

Calling all bakers to our Kids in the Kitchen cookie class, where you’ll learn to make a simple dough base that can be altered to become just about any kind of cookie. Pastry Chef Thanh Tang will teach you how the type of flour you use, or the amount of mixing you do has on you cookie, in size, shape and chew.
