Kids in the Kitchen – 3 Day Around the World New Years Traditional Parties

This 3-Day Camp is designed for kids ages 8-12.

What better way to ring in the New Year than to celebrate in three  different countries without needing a passport!  Every country has their own way of ringing in the New Year and many of the traditions revolve around foods that are eaten to bring good luck, prosperity and longevity throughout the coming year.  In this hands-on, 3-day camp, Chef Lee Baker will lead your kids through both savory and sweet dishes that might become traditions in your family.  Each day they will sample their creations in class and bring the rest home for all to enjoy.

Wednesday – Mexican Fiesta

  • Traditional Chicken Tostadas with all the fixings
  • Churros with Chocolate Dipping Sauce

Thursday – Italian Pasta Party 

  • Homemade Pasta Fettuccine with Ham and Peas tossed in a Cream Sauce
  • Good Luck Grape- Studded Olive Oil Cake

Friday – Chinese Dumpling Party

  • Pork Dumplings
  • Soy-Chili Dipping Sauce
  • Fried-Rice

All classes are taught by a culinary professional, with 2 assistants.

No prior cooking experience is required, just an interest to learn.

For safety reasons, please tie long hair back and wear closed-toed shoes.

Kids in the Kitchen – 3 Day Holiday Bake Shop

This 3-Day Camp is designed for kids ages 8-12.

What better way to jump into the holiday season than to learn how to create holiday treats and treasures that are enjoyed by all generations.  In this hands-on, 3-day camp, Chef Lee Baker will teach your kids all her foolproof tips and tricks for baking up numerous holiday treats.  Not only will your kids create 2 types of Macarons they will also make gingerbread dough that they will turn into their very own gingerbread house.

Thursday & Friday –  2 Day Gingerbread House Workshop

Thursday we begin by making our gingerbread dough  that is rolled, shaped and baked to create the house pieces, on Friday after making the Royal Icing and Vanilla Butter cream, its time to build the houses and decorate with candies galore!

This 1 Day Session is designed for kids ages 8 to 12.

In this 1 day session, Chef Lee Baker will inspire your child to experience some of the popular traditional foods of London, England. We will learn a bit about England, explore the different ingredients and flavor profiles that make the city of London distinct while we cook up delicious recipes.  Our skilled culinary team will assist as your child practices knife skills and becomes familiar with the  kitchen equipment.  Pack your food passport and experience one of the culinary wonders of London!!

This 5 day camp is designed for kids ages 8-12.

MONDAY, June 26th to FRIDAY, June 30th

FROM 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Everyday

Come join Chef Lee Baker to learn the fundamentals of baking. Chef Lee will guide you through a hands-on experience creating some of your favorite baked goods and desserts. Each day we will learn new culinary terms, ingredient functions, measuring, mixing, decorating and so much more. By the end of the week you will be a confident baker and have so many goodies to taste and share!

This 3-day camp is designed for kids ages 8-12.

Wednesday July 5th – FRIDAY, July 7th

From 10:00AM to 12:00PM everyday.

The PNW is an outdoor enthusiasts paradise. In this class, let Chef Lee Baker take you on different outdoor adventures through themed menus everyday. Some of these meals pack up great for local day trips and others highlight special foods of our local region. You’ll have fun and learn about the beautiful Pacific Northwest!
