Kids in the Kitchen – 5 Day Traveling Cookie Bakeshop

This 5 day camp is designed for kids ages 8-12.

Monday – Friday 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM

In the Traveling Cookie Bakeshop Chef Hend Yahya will teach your kids how to combine the sweet flavors of the world into delicious treats.  In this hands-on experience your kids will bake cookies from all over the world and no passport is needed.  As a traveling chef they will learn techniques unique to various regions and bake a few non-cookie treats as they explore the world.  Each day they will bring home tasty souvenirs to share with family and friends.

All classes are taught by a culinary professional with 2 adult assistants.

Classes are designed for students 13 and up

No prior cooking experience is required, just an interest to learn.

For safety reasons, please tie long hair back and wear closed-toed shoes.

Students will be working with milk, flour, butter and eggs so we are unable to accommodate students with allergies to working with gluten, dairy or eggs.

Nothing beats a cup of afternoon tea or Joe with an Italian Biscotti dunker. These cookies, named Biscotti because they’re “twice-baked”, are an excellent cookie for all.  More so, they delight anyone who is lucky enough to receive as a gift. In this hands-on class, you will learn how to choose the best ingredients to make perfect Biscotti every time.  Italian expert Iole Aguero will teach you her techniques to get exact and repeatable results with these versatile Biscotti cookies. In this hands-on class, you will make three of Iole’s famous Biscotti recipes.

You’ll take home your baked Biscotti from dough the chef pre-made as well as your prepared dough to shape and bake the next day or freeze for future use.
