While the broth simmers, we’ll keep your hands busy making Chả Giò (crispy pork egg rolls). They’ll look as good as they taste!  Then, you’ll assemble your bowls like a pro and enjoy this fragrant, comforting beef and rice noodle soup. You’ll get a bowl of each broth, to see if you have a favorite.  Chef Thanh Tang will also share the history of Phö and his time-saving tips for preparing ingredients in advance.

Souped Up! Dumplings

Are you a fan of soup dumplings and like to live life on the edge? Celebrate the New Year in this soup dumpling class where we’ll trade in the traditional pork and ginger dumpling for the vibrant flavors of Southeast Asian. Chef Thanh Tang will give you step by step instructions for simmering a flavorful rounded stock, discuss herbs and spices commonly used in Southeast Asian cooking and share the philosophies behind the Asian  cuisine. In this hands on class, you will gain a wide range of skills as you make the delicate wrapping. You will then roll, fill and crimp your dumplings using traditional techniques.

You will end this winter class on a cozy note as you sit down to enjoy your handcrafted soup dumplings fresh from the steamer.
