MONDAY, July 15th to FRIDAY, July 19th From 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, EverydayIn the Traveling Bakeshop Chef Hend Yahya will teach your kids how to combine the sweet flavors of the world into delicious sweet treats. In this hands-on experience your kids will bake from all over the world and no passport is needed. As a traveling chef they will learn techniques unique to various regions and bake 2 sweet treats a day as they explore the world. Each day they will bring home some tasty souvenirs to share with family and friends.Monday – Scandinavia Danish Kringle Norwegian Chocolate Chip Cookies Tuesday – Southern Europe Madeleines Biscotti Wednesday – South America Alfajores Dessert Empanadas with Apples Thursday – The Middle East Moroccan Crescent Cookie Besbousa Cake (semolina coconut Cake soaked in simple syrup) Friday – East Asia Matcha Butter Cookies Chocolate Mochi All classes are taught by a culinary professional with 2 adult assistants. Classes are designed for students 8-13 years old No prior cooking experience is required, just an interest to learn. For safety reasons, please tie long hair back and wear closed-toed shoes. Students will be working with milk, flour, butter and eggs, we are unable to accommodate students with allergies to working with gluten, dairy or eggs.
