Did you know in Ireland they don’t eat corned beef and cabbage for St. Patrick’s Day? To find out what some of the true Irish food traditions are, join Chef Lee Baker in this hands on Kids in The Kitchen Irish Cooking Adventure. Your child will make two savory Irish dishes and a fun non-traditional festive dessert. Chef Lee will teach your child how to make a traditional shepherd’s pie filled with savory beef, colorful vegetables and topped with creamy mashed potatoes in addition to a loaf of Irish soda bread. Your child will end the class with a fun treat sure to delight everyone! Shepherd’s Pie Irish Soda Bread Pot of Gold Puppy Chow (this dessert contains peanut butter) All classes are taught by a culinary professional with 2 adult assistants. Classes are designed for students 8 to 12 years old. No prior cooking experience is required, just an interest to learn. For safety reasons, please tie long hair back and wear closed toed shoes.
