Kids in the KItchen – The French Macaron

Class is designed for boys and girls ages 8 to 12.

Put your hand up if you’d love to learn how to use a piping bag! French Macarons are elegant, piped almond meringue cookies, sandwiched together with a velvety buttercream. In this hand-on class, Pastry Chef Thanh Tang will take you step-by-step through making meringue and the perfect macaron batter, piping the perfect rounds (that are all the same size), and the technique for a dreamy buttercream you will want to use for frosting all your cakes. What you don’t eat in class you can take home for family and friends.

You’ll chose your color and what to sandwiched the Macarons together with either a Dark Chocolate Ganache or Strawberry Buttercream, or both!
