In this fun and interactive class you’ll learn the secrets to homemade Italian pasta, made simple.
Discover the regional cooking of Emilia-Romagna, Italy’s so-called “food valley” and home to many of Italy’s most famous homemade pastas. In this hand-on class, Food Blogger Cindy Swain will take you on a culinary journey to making two types of authentic Italian pasta dishes.
We’ll start by making one of the most iconic stuffed pastas “cappellacci di zucca” or stuffed egg pasta filled with Roasted Butternut Squash served with a Butter and Sage Sauce.
Next we’ll learn the secrets to homemade “tagliatelle ai funghi porcini e panna”, homemade ribbon noodles in a warm Porcini Mushroom Cream Sauce topped with freshly grated Parmigiano Reggiano cheese.
Cindy Swain lived in Italy for 9 years before recently moved to the Seattle area. She is passionate about teaching the art of Italian cooking to Seattle foodies.
