Austrian Strudel – Vienna’s signature dish. Learn how to make the pastry dough from scratch, prepare the apple-raisin filling, and the nuts and bolts of rolling the unleavened dough into a thin sheet for a delicious flaky Strudel.
Linzer Torte which s believed to be the oldest know cake in the world. Named after the city of Linzs, it’s a dessert enjoyed during the holidays or just with a afternoon cup of tea.
A little about Edna – her heritage is a melting pot of cultures: Mexican, Austrian, Italian and Spanish. As an artist she is curious, passionate, fearless and creative when it comes to trying new things and ingredients in the kitchen. She is enthusiastic about what she does and her friends say –that it is contagious. She loves seeing people’s reactions and big smiles when they taste her dishes. When teaching she likes to take her students on a sensory adventure of new flavors and ingredients. For Edna, food is magical and believes that food has the power to transform, break barriers and bring people together.
