Making gnocchi is a labor of love, and after making it from scratch, you’ll appreciate those little pillows of potato heaven even more. The perfect gnocchi are the result of carefully selected ingredients, well-crafted dough and the art of rolling them with love one-by-one. In this hands-on class, our Italian expert Chef Iole will teach you how to prepare the perfect potato gnocchi and teach you 3 different techniques to roll the perfect Gnocchi (the way her grandmother hand rolled, her mother taught her to roll with a fork and now with Iole will teach you to roll with a gnocchi paddle).
We will start with the perfect Gnocchi dough, and shaping
Then, you will make 3 separate sauces to top your gnocchi:
Fresh Heirloom Plum Tomato and Basil Sauce
Brown Butter and Sage Sauce
Creamy Gorgonzola Sauce
All served with a Fresh Butter Lettuce Salad with a simple lemon vinaigrette.
