Teens at Whisk – Summer Celebrations!
This 5-day camp is designed for teen chefs, ages 13 and up.
MONDAY, July 12th – FRIDAY, July 16th
FROM 2:00PM – 4:00 PM
Join Chef Thanh Tang as we cook and eat our way through celebration-themed menus all week long. Every day can be a party! Students will learn valuable skills for throwing a party including advanced food preparation, menu planning, knife skills, grilling, cast iron cooking, frying and baking. Best of all, they will build their very own signature BBQ sauce – to be the star of barbecues to come!
Monday – Backyard BBQ
Create your own BBQ Sauce, BBQ Ribs, Potato Salad, Grilled Green Beans with Herb Butter, Grilled Stone Fruit with Honey Almond Panna Cotta
Tuesday – Southwest Fiesta
Chicken Fajitas, Pico de Gallo, Hibiscus Lemonade, Chocoflan
Wednesday- Let’s Do Brunch
Dutch Baby, San Juan Eggs, Green Goddess Salad, Cinnamon Rolls
Thursday – Hawaiian Beach Party
Teriyaki Beef Sliders, Grilled Pineapple, Tropical Coleslaw, Toasted Coconut Cupcakes
Friday – Picnic in the Park
Fried Chicken, Buttermilk Biscuits, Summer Tomato Salad, No-Bake Lemon Pie
No prior cooking experience is required, just an interest to learn.
For safety reasons, please tie long hair back and wear closed-toed shoes.
