Simple Italian Comfort Foods

Winter is calling to us –“Comfort Food”  it says! So, we will roll up our sleeve and get busy making traditional Italian pasta dough. We will use that dough to turnout two varieties of pasta; maltagliati and tagliatelle, and then, using traditional Italian pantry staples, we’ll put together a delicious meal that celebrates simple, country, classic Italian Food! In this hands-on class, our Italian-born Instructor Paola with guide you step-by-step from flour to fork with these pasta dishes, paired with a refreshing winter salad. You will make:

Handmade Tagliatelle Pasta with Sugo Finto – a Tomato-based sauce from Tuscany, with Carrots, Celery, Onions; topped with Parmigiano Reggiano.

Handmade Maltagliati with freshly cooked Heirloom Beans, Sautéed Escarole and a drizzle of Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

Insalata di Arance e Finocchi – Orange and Fennel Salad, seasoned with a citrusy extra virgin olive oil Vinaigrette.
