Sausage Making 101
Join Chef Aaron Tekulve for his hands on class on old-fashioned sausage making. Here you will learn the right cuts of meat for sausages and the right blend of lean to fat; how to choose and use spices and herbs to give your sausages a unique flavor; the best way to grind and mix the meat and how to choose the right casings, along with cooking tips to get the best out of your bangers. Recipes include a Mexican Chorizo Sausage and Spicy Italian Breakfast Sausage.
Each participant will go home after tasting in class with approximately 3 plus pounds of freshly stuffed sausages.
