Phö Anyone?

Known as a popular street food in Vietnam, Pho has become a globally loved comfort food. Come and explore the fresh and savory flavors of this favorite Vietnamese dish. Learn the traditional preparation of Beef Phö, including the secrets to creating its signature clear broth and how to develop the delicious umami flavor through using a variety of spices, herbs and cuts of meats.

In this hands-on class, Chef Thanh Tang will teach you how to make two versions of the brothone from Northern Vietnam and one from Southern Vietnam

While the broth simmers, we’ll keep your hands busy making Chả Giò (crispy pork egg rolls). They’ll look as good as they taste!  Then, you’ll assemble your bowls like a pro and enjoy this fragrant, comforting beef and rice noodle soup. You’ll get a bowl of each broth, to see if you have a favorite.  Chef Thanh Tang will also share the history of Phö and his time-saving tips for preparing ingredients in advance.
