Local Ocean – A PNW Cioppino Dinner

Here in the Northwest, we love our seafood. Cioppino, a fisherman’s stew originating in San Francisco by Italian immigrants, is a great way to take advantage of the absolutely delicious freshness our region offers. With Dungeness Crab, Shrimp, Mussels, Clams, fish and a bit of zip, this hearty stew is sure to satisfy. Join Chef Barbara Sowatsky as she shares her favorite recipes for this three course Italian dinner featuring Cioppino. In this hands-on class, we will make:

Zucchini Saltimbocca with Lemon Aoli, Prosciutto, Fontina;

Pacific Northwest Cioppino served with Crusty Country Bread; and

Cherry and Almond Crostata with Fresh Cream
