Kids in the Kitchen – The French Macaron
This class is designed for boys and girls ages 8 to 12.
Put your hand up if you’d love to learn to use a piping bag! French Macarons are elegant piped almond meringue cookies, sandwiched together with a velvety buttercream. In this hand-on class, Pastry Chef Thanh Tang will take you step-by-step through making meringue and the perfect macaron batter, piping the perfect rounds (that are all the same size), and the technique for a dreamy Swiss buttercream you will want to use for frosting all your cakes. What you don’t eat in class you can take home for family and friends. You will make a selection of different colored Macarons sandwiched together with Swiss Vanilla Buttercream or Dark Chocolate Ganache and your choice of seasonal flavors for the perfect Macarons.

- All classes are taught by a Culinary Professional, with 2 adult assistants.
- No prior cooking experience is required, just an interest to learn.
