Kids in the Kitchen – Dough-licious, 5-Day Camp
This 5-day session is designed just for kids, ages 8 to 12!
We will spend the week discussing and learning all about the Basics of Dough with our talented Chef Lisa Crawford! All classes are hands-on lessons.
This week we will get elbow deep into flour as we jump into the world of baking with this 5-day dough-licious baking camp! During this week, you’ll learn about yeasted & unyeasted dough, how to handle & shape the different doughs, learn about resting and baking temperatures and make everything from Pretzels to Pies to Pizza, using ingredients both savory or sweet. We will learn how to use a scale to measure ingredients, about planning ahead for items such as calzones and cinnamon rolls and have lots of fun while learning the basics of working with different types of doughs.

Class Runs 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM Everyday
Monday – Flatbread: Crackers & Tortillas
Tuesday – Pie: Apple Handpie & Fruit Tarts
Wednesday – Soft Pretzels
Thursday – Cinnamon Rolls
Friday – Calzones
Each day you will taste and take some home to share!
- All classes are taught by a Culinary Professional, with 2 adult assistants.
- No prior cooking experience is required, just an interest to learn.
- For safety reasons, please tie long hair back and wear closed toed shoes.
- Students will be working with flour, butter and eggs and so we cannot accommodate students with allergies to working with gluten, dairy or eggs.
