Kids in the Kitchen – Chocolate, Chocolate, Chocolate

In this class, kids will learn essential baking techniques, while creating delicious chocolate bakes from scratch. Cookbook author Gill Dey will share her passion for all things chocolate with her signature, no-nonsense classic recipes. Learn how to make moist and chocolatey cup cakes topped with a velvety double chocolate buttercream which we will pipe on top. Then make Chocolate Crinkles – an easy cookie with a brownie-like texture and a rich chocolate flavor – that is sure to become a family favorite, loved by adults and children alike. Classes are designed for boys and girls ages 8 to 12 years.

All classes are taught by a Culinary Professional, with 2 adult assistants.

No prior cooking experience is required, just an interest to learn.For safety reasons, please tie long hair back and wear closed toed shoes.

Students will be working with flour, butter and eggs and so we cannot accommodate students with allergies to  gluten, dairy or eggs.
