Whisk welcomes expert mixologist, Cooper Smith from Artusi in Seattle to share her craft for creating the perfect cocktail hour at home. Find out how to build a sophisticated, well-stocked bar with premium liquors, tasteful mixers, ideal tools and the perfect glassware. In this two-hour session you will learn why some drinks need to be stirred, while others need to be shaken, you’ll learn the difference between amari and bitters and how to use them to spice up the most basic cocktail. From classic to the esoteric, you’ll leave with a new set of techniques and knowledge to enhance your cocktail prowess.

Hot Toddy – More than just bourbon and hot water, a warming winter drink with added spices
Cranberry flamed Rosemary Martini – a stirred cocktail using vodka and cranberry liqueur with a flaming rosemary garnish
Cinnamon Amaretto Sour – A sweet and refreshing cocktail made with house-made cinnamon syrup and egg whites. Learn to shake an egg white cocktail to perfection
You will also graze along a large charcuterie board.
