British Afternoon Tea

Come learn the etiquette of eating from a 3-tier cake stand in our British Afternoon Tea class. Scottish cook book author Gill Dey will share her tried and tested recipes for an authentic afternoon tea complete with tea sandwiches, shortbread, Bakewell Tarts (with a raspberry filling and an almond sponge topping), and of course scones to split and served with clotted cream and strawberry jam.
We’ll talk about how to make a proper cup of tea and will sit down to enjoy our bakes with a glass of Pimms – a refreshing British summer cocktail – garnished with cucumber and mint.
